It's kind of a blah day today. I spent most of the day curled up in a chair reading. I know not knitting. I'm only working on 2 projects right now anyway. One is a scarf for one of my new managers. Nothing special. 15 stiches on sz 17 needles in a garter stitch. I should finish it tonight or tomorrow. The other project is from Kris Percival's book Speed Knitting. It is a little ballerina jacket I'm knitting from a mohair blended with some metallic thread. It's really beautiful and I wanted to have it finished by Halloween to where to a party but I'm not holding out much hope since I just cast it on and only have 4 rows done on the first piece.
I did the same jacket for my daughter in an eyelashy type yarn that was a pain. I don't know why everytime I knit something for her it's with that yarn. I hate it. I think the yarn companies invented it so that they could make all kinds things with it and the latent taylors like me wouldn't look at and go,"Hey, I can make that!" I hate knitting with that stuff!
Well the kids just got off the bus so now i have to go be Mommy.
